October Favourites

Tuesday 10 November 2015

Another month gone and we are quickly getting closer and closer to Christmas which I am super excited about. So much has been happening in the last couple of months and I have been super busy with work and personal things I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I am planning my wedding for next year in April so I have been flat out and am just looking forward to a bit of a rest over the Christmas period. Any who I am here today to share my standout beauty bits for the month of October so let jump into it...

Palmer's Shea Body Lotion * - I love the coco butter formula from Palmer's so much it is always a bedside table staple and since I have received this Shea body lotion I have found another love this moisturising lotion has a gorgeous light fragrance and is super moisturising perfect for putting on before bed so you wake up with beautifully soft skin.

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream - I have been wanting to try out this CC cream since I laid eyes on it and you all should know by now I love BB/CC creams and they are generally what I will wear on a day to day basis if I am actually wearing makeup. This CC cream did not disappoint it has great coverage for a cc cream and it lasts all day does not make me oilier then I naturally am and just sinks into your skin and does give you better looking skin as its name suggests. I will be repurchasing this baby when it runs out.

Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Cleansing Pads * - Another product I have been loving, I introduced these cleansing pads into my skincare routine over the last couple of weeks and I have seen a great difference in my skin, I believe they have helped in fighting off/reducing my blemishes as they have been down to a all time low and have been disappearing a lot quicker then normal.

Rimmel London Kate Nude Lipstick #45* -This shade has been my go to colour of late I love the creamy formula of this lipstick and this dusty mauve shade is just gorgeous on and would suit almost everyone's complexion. If you haven't looked at the Rimmel nude lipstick collection do go check out this shade if you love a nice mauve lipstick.

Skinstitut Clarifying Moisturiser* -  If you have oily skin like me you know it can be hard to find a nice moisturiser that doesn't make your skin more oilier then it already is and that sinks in properly. Another brand I have been incorporating into my skincare routine has been products from Skinstitut and I have really been enjoying them all but the stand out is this moisturiser. It is really light weight and has a very light fresh scent to it and sinks into my skin so nicely and does not add any more oil to my face or effect my makeup during the day. Well worth the look if you have oily skin.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel - If you have been looking for a brow gel to actually hold your brows in place all day well stop searching this one is the one! this clear brow gel is fantastic it holds my brows in place all day and they do not budge, they do however get a little bit stiff not overly but you can feel it. I got this little sample in a subscription box awhile ago and have just got around to using it now and so glad I did.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - I wasn't going to give into the hype around this little brow pencil as I am defiantly more of a gel girl. I don't have a great deal of time in the morning to sit down and fill in my brows but since using this pencil I do not know what I was thinking as I LOVE it. It is so easy and quick to use, the colour payoff is great and you do not have to force pressure on it to transfer to your brows/skin. The end result even if your a novice at filling in your brows like me is so much better then I have ever had with just using brow gel. So worth the purchase!

  3. I'm completely with you on the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel, I think it's one of the best I've used and it actually manages to keep my crazy eyebrow hairs in place. Unruly eyebrows and very dark hair isn't a great combo...
