Mother's Day Gift Guide

Tuesday 3 May 2016

We always get stuck on what to get  the person that has everything or wants nothing, so I have put together a few things that I think would make lovely Mother's Day gifts and will be well received. So if your stuck on what to get your mum and need a few extra ideas keep on reading...

With only a few shopping days left and with Mother's day approaching (May 8th) if you haven't been able to find anything I have a few great products to talk about. First up I want to mention a facial cleansing brush if your budget cannot afford the Clarisonic then why not check out the Conair True Glow Facial Cleansing Brush it can be used for the face, body and feet which makes it a lot more versatile and the price is a lot easier to handle at $99 AUD. You get a complete set of brushes with the cleanser and it feels great on the skin. It has low, medium and high speeds, is waterproof and rechargeable. It works the same way as the clarisonic and gets into your skin to remove dirt perfect for the mum that loves to take care of her skin!

If your mum would love to do more with her hair or curl it but is a bit time poor or just hates how long it takes to curl with a wand, have a look at the VS Sassoon Fashion Curl not only is it super easy to use and effective it also comes in two eye catching colours. You feed your hair in and when it comes out its curled! couldn't get any easier. It retails for $82.95 AUD

The vanilla duo pictured above is a Hand & Body Wash and a Lotion from Urban Rituelle, this little pack is simply gorgeous it has a light scent that is so pleasing. I love giving body products for gifts as people don't generally buy these types of things for themselves and I know personally I love receiving them. If your mum isn't to vanilla something is wrong! Urban Rituelle have some other beautiful scents and different gift packs available. This duo retails for $59.95 Plus did I mention they are Australian made.

If  your looking to splurge a bit the Power Couple by Sunday Riley is suppose to be the bomb.com, I cannot vouch for it just yet as I have only just picked them up myself but the reviews have all been positive and it is such a beautiful luxe gift to give and receive for anyone who loves skincare. The set is $124.00 AUD

Another option that I love is to create your own hamper for your mum and add in her favourite items like a beautiful scented candle, Bath soak, chocolates a great mug or tea bags she loves. You could also add in a long wearing lipstick if she is into makeup or her favourite perfume the options are endless and it always makes a great gift.

What will you be getting your mum this year?

* Products were gifted to me for consideration, all opinions are my own and I will always give my honest opinion.

  8. As soon as I saw the Sunday Riley set on Mecca I knew right away that I wanted it, though that probably means in my case I should just buy it for myself rather than my mum!
