Schkinny Maninny Detox

Thursday 9 June 2016

A couple of months ago I got offered to try out a detox program from Schkinny Maninny and as I had just indulged over my wedding I thought it would be a great idea to detox my body of the bad toxins and start fresh. I actually have never done a detox program before so I was unaware of what it would be like so if you want to know more keep on reading...

Schkinny Maninny have a great range of different detox programs to choose from and I opted for the juices and the meal as I didn't think I would be able to survive without food for the three days. My 3 day detox arrived promptly and each day packaged really well in its own cooler box labeled with all the nutritional information as well as what to have first, second ect.

The detox started each day with a green juice for breakfast, another juice for morning tea then a soup for lunch followed by another juice for afternoon tea and then a salad for dinner. You also get a little tub of seeds to snack on during the day to keep your jaw moving. Everything tasted great and you also receive information packed e-mails everyday of your detox to help you out and keep you on track.

I will say day 1 wasn't so bad but come day two I began to feel a bit lightheaded and had a really bad headache which I knew was going to happen as I had read it in the e-mail. I persisted and finished my three day detox happy that I had proceeded with it and I did feel a lot better on day four once the detox had finished and I felt that I had a whole lot more energy then I normally would. I didn't check if I had lost any weight from the detox as I wasn't worried about this I was more interested in restarting my system and getting back on track with eating more healthy.

Overall I think this detox program was great and I loved how everything was fresh and already ready for me consume. If you are looking for a detox program to try I do really suggest you pop on over to Schkinny Maninny and see what they have to offer. Their detoxes are all freshly made with natural ingredients and are vegan friendly.

What is your opinion on detox programs?

  1. I'm a little skeptical of detox programs but I think depending on which one you go for, as long as you're sensible about things then they can probably be really beneficial.

  4. This definitely sounds interesting! I'm not a big detox believer myself, but this would be a good way just to get your mindset into the whole healthy eating/more energy type of thing! I am struggling with my motivation lately! I need to kick my butt into gear. Great post!
