Lip balm 101

Monday 23 February 2015

So as lip junkie I have tried so many lip products and I am always on the search for that perfect lip balm that actually helps my lips out when they are dry or chapped. So I have pulled a few of my favourites out to share with you all...

Vaseline Lip Therapy - This little jar besides being super cute it great at keeping your lips moisturised I wouldn't use this one if my lips were really chapped as I don't feel he helps to much unlike some of the others.

Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid - This lip balm is great for chapped lips and for keeping your lips moisturised. The Lanolin makes this balm thick which helps it to stay around it also has a great smell and a bit of shimmer to it so it's great if your wanting something to help fix your lips and look nice at the same time.

Go - To Skincare Lips! - As the tube states this baby is a super balm it does it all keeps your lips moisturised, helps mend chapped lips and it's also great at flew season around your nose to help your tissue rash.

Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment - Now if you do not own this tube why not??? This stuff is the bomb it can be used for everything! Chapped lips, moisturizing, rashes, burns, cuts, insect bites and the list goes on. One of the best cult products out there and one of my all time favourites. I have heaps of these tubes around my house and use it for a range of things including on my pets if they have cut them self or got into a bit of a scrap. One of the best!

Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm - I know this balm is well talked about but as I always am late to the party, I have only just picked this tub up a couple of months ago and so so glad I did. This lip balm is thick and is great for all your lip needs. I use this every night before bed as a lip treatment/mask and it is deeply nourishing.

Caudalíe Lip Conditioner - Another great lip balm that is highly moisturizing and helps with chapped lips. It has a thick consistency without any smell and sticks around. As its names says it is a conditioning lip balm and it does just that.

Nivea Lip Butter - This little tin smell's amazing and I find great for days your out in the sun they hydrate your lips and keep them soft and supple. I wouldn't  however use this for chapped lips as I don't find them thick enough to stay around and really get in and nourish my lips.

What is your go to lip balm?

  1. Vaseline is my all-time favorite. It is the best and also the cheapest among the lip balms I have ever tried,... Thank you for this post
