Makeup Removers

Monday 24 August 2015

I wanted to talk a bit about makeup removers today as I have just shared my current skincare routine I thought I should share what makeup removers I am currently using and loving. I tend to use a bit of a variety of makeup removers depending on what I have been doing or what I have been wearing on my face that day...

So as you can see from the picture above I have three different sorts of removers from solid oil to wipes to cleansing water. I tend to use the micellar water for everyday use as it works great at getting all my makeup off. But if I want to do a bit more or I have had more makeup on my face then my normal minimal makeup I tend to lean towards the oil cleansers as they just break everything on my face down and is easy to wash off ready to cleanse. If I am feeling lazy or I'm time poor I will just grab a makeup wipe and quickly take off my makeup and cleanse my face in the morning.

The products that I currently have on rotation are Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, Formula 10.0.6 Makeup Wipes, Delicious Skin Butter Cleanser and Clinique Take The Day Off. These products do change fairly often as they run out except for the Garnier micellar water as I always repurchase this.

If you have any great makeup removers please leave me a comment down below as I would love to know.

  2. My favourite makeup remover has got to be Bioderma; for removing both eye makeup and face makeup. It's really gentle but effective I find.

If you're on the market for an oil cleanser, give the philosophy one a try, it's a must have for me :D
